10 November 2009 - US networking equipment supplier Cisco (NASDAQ:CSCO) has extended its all-share bid for Norwegian video-conferencing solutions provider Tandberg ASA (OSL: TAA) to 17:30 CET on 18 November 2009.
This was announced yesterday shortly before the original acceptance period expired at 17:30 CET.
On 1 October 2009, Cisco offered NOK153.50 apiece in cash for each share in Tandberg, valuing the company at NOK17.2bn.
The bid has been recommended by Tandberg's board of directors and management.
