Qatar has increased the supply of natural gas through the Dolphin pipeline to the UAE and Oman. Qatar raised supplies by 4.5% to 2.09bn cu ft a day from October 19, said Dolphin Energy Ltd, which is owned by Abu Dhabi state-owned investor Mubadala Development Co, Total and Occidental Petroleum Corp.
Dolphin recently signed an interruptible gas supply and purchase agreement with Qatar Petroleum and is now receiving approximately 90mn standard cubic feet a day of additional supply for use by Dolphin s existing customers, the Abu Dhabi-based company said in an e-mailed response to questions.
