Mitsubushi Heavy Industries Middle East, fresh from its success on the completion of the first phase of the Dubai Metro project, has won new long-term service agreements for two gas turbine combined cycle (GTCC) power generation plants in Egypt. The Sidi Krir and El Atf power stations are located approximately 30 km west and 60 km east of Alexandira, Egypt's second-largest city. Both plants will have the capacity to generate 750 MW of electricity and the service agreements were concluded with West Delta Electricity Production Company and Middle Delta Electricity Production Company respectively.
