After 27 years in the automotive aftermarket industry traveling the country, Dave Shedlock has left his executive position with Am-Pac Tire Distributors Inc. to launch his own wholesale equipment company.
Mr. Shedlock launched Workshop Depot July 1, on his 47th birthday, and has hopes of building the company into a $3 million to $5 million operation in about three years as a national "total garage equipment provider.
His Memphis, Tenn.-based company offers several brands of lifts, tire changers, balancers and other shop equipment and tools, on-site training by factory representatives, training DVDs and toll-free tech ...
