IF YOU'VE ordered a Toyota Fortuner you need to read this story. The new Ford Everest has been launched in South Africa and goes head-to-head against the Fortuner which commands 35 percent of the larger SUV segment.
Based on the Ford Ranger platform and replacement to the Territory, the Everest is a seven-seater SUV launched in three models and one engine derivative (there are no plans for other engines yet).
The 3-litre Duratorq TDCi diesel engine is the same one found in the Ranger and Mazda BT-50 bakkie ranges, with the same 115kW/380Nm power outputs. If five-speed manual is your thing, you have the choice of the XLT ...
