At the opening ceremony of the Fitzpatrick Grand Central Hotel on August 20th, the Honorable Mayor Giuliani and John Fitzpatrick, CEO of the Fitzpatrick Group of Hotels, received a glass of "Rudy's Run" and a toast by Frank McCourt, Irish author of Angela's Ashes. Also sharing in the toast was Anna Manahan, Tony-winner for Best Feature Actress for her leading part in The Beauty Queen of Leenane. The Fitzpatrick Grand Central Hotel is the first hotel to open in the Grand Central area in 15 years.
Other guests at the opening ceremony include John Cambell, Irish Ambassador to the UN; Brian Leehey, vice president of the Allied Irish Bank in New York: Adrian McDaid, ...
