Article: RBCO mulls ferry system for Laguna Lake.

MANILA, Sep. 3 (PNA) --- River Basin Control Office (RBCO) is considering to propose a ferry system in 98,000-hectare Laguna de Bay, the Philippines' largest inland water body.

RBCO Executive Director Dr. Vicente Tuddao, Jr., said the agency is looking into such project to help enhance this lake's role as an economic driver.

"Having a world-class ferry system will help facilitate movement of people and goods within Laguna de Bay and around its lakeshore towns," he said.

He also said the ferry system will help open up more eco-tourism opportunities throughout the area.
