VIRGINIA BEACH - Barbara Ann (McKnight) Wetzel passed away Nov. 9, 2009, at the Seaside Health Center at Atlantic Shores in Virginia Beach.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Gerald Bruce Wetzel and sister, Trudy Jo McKnight.
Barbara was born Sept. 25, 1932, just north of Braymer, Mo., the second oldest of seven children of the late Lawrence and Herma (Murray) McKnight. She was an accomplished seamstress, avid bridge player, loved to read, and was a wonderful mother, sister and friend.
