CANFIELD, Ohio, Nov. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Owner Ron Cianciola purchased Socket Systems, founded 1983, in November, 2007. Socket Systems (http://www.socketsys.com/), manufactures a steel joinery system called Lumber Link. This 3/16" steel "socket," joins 6-inch x 6-inch rough-cut timbers or wood members, to create a clear span building frame. The standard Lumber Link kit will create an open area up to 30 feet wide. Options include Porch Extensions of 15 feet on each side, multiple roof options and building styles. The Gambrel roof option is perfect for a spacious second floor.
