Behind every great '.o' release is a '.1' update awaiting its opportunity to contribute. After iPhone 3.0 added a slate of new features this June, the newly released iPhone 3.1 has arrived to smooth its predecessor's rough edges and add some enhancements of its own.
iTunes Features
iPhone 3.1 arrives in tandem with iTunes 9 (see our review on page 69), so it's no surprise that several enhancements require that you upgrade Apple's jack-of-all-trades application to its latest version. You can now organize the apps on your iPhone's Home screen via iTunes. Apple also improved your media syncing options, enabling you to sync music based on specific playlists ...
