THREE women who invested $40,000 in a Baptist minister's betting scheme are still waiting for their payout - more than two years after handing over the money.
Lauder Clark had promised an astonishing 400 per cent return with his 'foolproof' bets on sporting events.
He told Deirdre O'Riordan that he could turn her $20,000 life savings into $100,000 within a year - and raise money for charities and NGOs along the way.
Miss O'Riordan, from Dublin, was convinced and staked all of her SSIA money and other savings on Lauder's plan back in 2007.
