"The Diary of Anne Frank," the impassioned drama about eight Jews hiding from the Nazis in a concealed attic in Amsterdam for more than two years, will be performed Friday through Sunday, Nov. 13-15 and Nov. 20-22, in the Performing Arts Center of Harper College, Roselle and Algonquin roads, Palatine.
Anne Frank gets a diary for her 13th birthday in 1942, just three weeks before the family is forced into hiding. She continues writing steadily, capturing the "claustrophobic realities" of their daily existence in the tiny space where she is afforded no privacy during her passage from girlhood to young womanhood, until her arrest by the Nazis in 1944,
