12 NOVEMBER 2009 SUVA (SOPAC) ---- A regional workshop on Proposal Writing on Small Scale Coconut Oil Processing Projects is being conducted by the Pacific Islands Applied Geoscience Commission (SOPAC) at the Centre for Appropriate Technology and Development (CATD) in Nadave, Fiji Islands. There are 30 participants representing the Fiji islands, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Nauru, Niue, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Tonga and Tuvalu.
The opening address was delivered by Mr Iferemi Dau, Director of Biofuel Development, Fiji Department of Energy, who elaborated on the current biofuel initiatives that are being implemented by the Government of Fiji, with ...
