MANILA, Nov. 9 (PNA) -- Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Director General Jesus Verzosa allayed fears of possible terrorism behind the separate explosions in the cities of Mandaluyong and Quezon early morning on Monday.
Verzosa said the twin-explosion at the main office of San Miguel Corp. at the corner of San Miguel and Julia Vargas Avenues in Ortigas Center, Mandaluyong City and at the Puregold Supermarket along Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City used only small type of explosives.
He immediately ordered a thorough investigation of the incidents to establish whether the two bombings were related and identify the perpetrators.
