MANILA, Nov 12 (PNA) -- Labor and Employment Secretary Marianito Roque expressed elation over the release of abducted priest, Fr. Michael Sinnot, who was a staunch supporter of government's programs for persons with disabilities before he was abducted in October.

"Fr. Sinnot is a strong DOLE partner for training and livelihood of people with disabilities (PWDs) in Pagadian City, whom he has been helping for eight years become productive citizens of their community," Roque said in a statement sent to media outfits Thursday.

Fr. Sinnot, a member of the Missionary Society of St. Columban, is a staunch advocate of PWD's welfare, he cited.
