According to a study from Basel, Switzerland, "Avosentan is a potent, selective endothelin A receptor blocker. The pharmacokinetics of avosentan were investigated in healthy male and Female volunteers, following oral and i.v. administration of single doses of avosentan and its absolute bioavailability was determined."
