Fresenius Kabi Pharmaceuticals Holding, Inc., (NASDAQ: APCVZ), which acquired APP Pharmaceuticals, Inc., September 10, 2008, announced the election of Bernhard Hampl, Ph.D. to its Board of Directors effective November 1, 2009. Dr. Hampl, also named as Executive Chairman of the Board, succeeds current Chairman Dr. Ulf M. Schneider. Dr. Schneider will continue to serve on the Board of Directors and as a member of the Audit Committee (see also APP Pharmaceuticals, Inc.).
