GE Healthcare, a leading provider of healthcare information technology, announced that its Centricity Health Information Exchange solution (HIE) participated in the Vermont Information Technology Leaders, Inc. (VITL) second annual Interoperability Showcase. VITL is a not-for-profit organization that is facilitating the implementation of electronic medical records (EMR) systems using the GE Centricity HIE in Vermont (see also GE Healthcare).
