Glencoe Software, Inc., the commercial arm of the Open Microscopy Environment (OME) Consortium (http://openmicroscopy.org/), is proud to announce its collaboration with the American Society of Cell Biology's exciting new project titled "The Cell: An Image Library." The ASCB has been awarded a $2.5M stimulus grant through the National Institutes of Health's (NIH) Grand Opportunities program, as part of the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act, to build a novel multi-dimensional image library of the cell.
