Herbalife Ltd. (NYSE:HLF), a global nutrition and direct-selling company, announced that it has begun operations in Vietnam, making this the 71st country where the company conducts business. On November 16, operations will begin in Paraguay (see also Herbalife Ltd.).

Vietnam becomes the company's 13th market to open in its Asia Pacific region, which is led by Managing Director William Rahn. A distribution center where independent distributors can pick up products opened in Ho Chi Minh City.

Thang Nguyen, who joined the company in June, is general manager of Vietnam.
