WellCare Health Plans, Inc. (NYSE: WCG) announced that Glenn D. Steele Jr., M.D., Ph.D., president and chief executive officer of Geisinger Health System, has been appointed to the Company's Board of Directors. The Board also appointed Dr. Steele to serve on its Health Care Quality and Access and Regulatory Compliance Committees (see also WellCare Health Plans, Inc.).
