Evergreen Energy Inc. (NYSE Arca:EEE) subsidiary C-Lock Technology, Inc. has been selected by Shanghai Electric Power Company Ltd. (Shanghai Electric) to use GreenCert™ in a feasibility study for a pilot project to quantify potential greenhouse gas (GHG) reductions in coal-fired power plants.
The U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) awarded a $453,000 grant to Shanghai Electric to evaluate the installation of the Carbon Limiting Improvement Process (CLIP) technology in coal-fired power plants.
