Adaptec, Inc. (NASDAQ: ADPT) released the results of third-party performance testing of its new MaxIQ™ SSD Cache Performance Solution in MySQL environments. AppLabs, the world's largest independent testing and quality management company, found that Adaptec MaxIQ (with MaxIQ SSD cache enabled) improved read and write throughput by eight times and increased transactions per second by 6.9 times when compared with a non-cached environment.
