Rockwell Collins, Inc. (NYSE: COL) reported net income for the fiscal year ended September 30, 2009 of $594 million, a decrease of $84 million, or 12 percent from fiscal year 2008 net income of $678 million. Earnings per share decreased 10 percent to $3.73 compared to earnings per share of $4.16 a year ago.
Fiscal year 2009 revenues decreased approximately $300 million, or 6 percent, to $4.47 billion compared to revenues of $4.77 billion last year. Fiscal year 2009 total segment operating margin was 21.4 percent compared to 21.9 percent last year.
