A Washington Briefing titled Advancing the Global Debate on Climate Change Policy will be held at the Willard Intercontinental Hotel on November 4. The 9.00-4.30 event will bring together scientists and policy experts, members of Congress and international leaders in a robust debate on the pros and cons of climate change legislation being developed in the Congress, and the agreements that might emerge from the Copenhagen Climate Summit in December.
Among the issues discussed will be: How effective will climate change legislation be in protecting the environment? What will its impact be on job-creation, the cost of living, industry and other sectors?
