The Jenzabar Foundation, which issues grants to institutions of higher education and other charitable organizations, announced its official status as a public charity. With the new authorization to raise money from outside sources as a public charity, The Foundation will have greater ability to fulfill its core goal to support service-based student groups on college and university campuses as well as other nonprofit organizations with similarly aligned missions.
