Quanta Services, Inc. (NYSE: PWR) announced results for the three and nine months ended September 30, 2009.
Revenues in the third quarter of 2009 were $780.8 million compared to revenues of $1.05 billion in the third quarter of 2008. For the third quarter of 2009, net income attributable to common stock was $63.4 million or $0.32 per diluted share, as compared to $51.9 million or $0.28 per diluted share in the third quarter of 2008. Included in net income attributable to common stock for the third quarter of 2009 is $22.4 million of income, or a benefit of $0.11 per diluted share, from the release of income tax contingencies due to the expiration of various ...
