The Jewish Community Center of Metropolitan Detroit opens its 58th Annual Jewish Book Fair tonight with Martin Indyk, director of the Saban Center for Middle East Policy at Brookings Institute and former ambassador to Israel under President Clinton. Indyk will discuss his latest book, Innocent Abroad: An Intimate Account of American Peace Diplomacy in the Middle East. Mr. Indyk will speak at 7:45 p.m. at the Jewish Community Center located at 6600 W. Maple in West Bloomfield. Tickets purchased in advance are $12, $15 at the door.
