MeadWestvaco Corp. (NYSE:MWV) has named Alejandro ("Alex") Cedeno vice president, Global Innovation, effective October 16, 2009. In this new role, Mr. Cedeno will be located at MWV's Center for Packaging Innovation (CPI) in Raleigh, N.C., where he will oversee the CPI and will also be responsible for implementing and managing an enhanced innovation process across MWV.
