A Norwegian freelance journalist taken hostage in Afghanistan a week ago was set free Thursday by his captors, authorities in Kabul said.
Pal Refsdal, 46, and his translator who was also kidnapped last Friday, are said to be in in good condition and are now in the care of health personnel in a secure place, officials said.
