The United States Department of Homeland Security has proposed a new program that would see the collection of both fingerprint and iris data from foreigner visitors as they leave the country, according to a National Post article. This new project would be in addition to program like US-VISIT, which sees foreign visitors biometric data being collected upon their entry to the country as well as adding iris scans as current programs rely mostly on fingerprints.
