MELBOURNE, Nov 13 Asia Pulse - Analysts say undertakings given by Woolworths Ltd (ASX:WOW) and joint venture partner Lowe's Companies Inc to the competition watchdog will not stop both companies from engaging in price discrimination against stores previously supplied by takeover target Danks Holdings Ltd.
Woolworths released its second bidders statement for Danks on Friday.
This included a statement of the undertakings over supply prices it make to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) to secure the regulator's approval for the takeover.
