2010 OUTLOOK FOR AUSTRALIA'S MURRAY-DARLING FARMERS GRIM
BRISBANE - The outlook for Murray-Darling farmers in 2010 is grim, with water in the system to drop to very low levels by June unless there are significant rains in autumn.
The second meeting of the Murray-Darling Basin Ministerial Council, held in Brisbane on Friday, heard stream flows and storage levels remained low across most of the basin, which is at 28 per cent capacity.
