SUFFOLK - Anne Knight Shuler passed away on Nov. 10, 2009. Born Sept. 10, 1920, in Whaleyville, Va., she was the only daughter of the late Horace Burton Knight and Annie Ruffin Beaman Knight Milteer.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, John Wade Shuler Sr.; children, Ellen B. Shuler of Richmond, Va., Betty S. Grimm and husband Les of Bel Air, Md., Jan S. Blumenthal and husband Shelley of Blacksburg, Va., and son, J. Wade Shuler Jr. and wife Pem of Portsmouth; grandchildren, David H. Grimm, Bryan H. Grimm and wife Meghan, Tara S.
