Each year, every teacher in Chesapeake gets silent support from groups of women throughout the city who pray for the teachers, schools and children.
It's a ministry called Moms In Touch International. The organization will sponso r a worldwide day of prayer Saturday .
In Chesapeake, the free prayer event will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Greenbrier Community Church on Eden Parkway .
The day will celebrate 25 years of prayer for children and schools and features the theme "Arise! Cry Out!"
