The introduction of a line of bypass oil filters has led the Racor Division of Parker Hannifin Corp. to offer the filters together with its existing full-flow cleanable filter range, as the Racor Liquid Filtration System (LFS).
The bypass filters are designed to remove dirt, varnish, ash, tar, soot and other contaminants from lubrication oil used in engines from 250 to 800-plus hp used in on-highway, offroad, stationary and marine equipment applications.
The four models in the bypass filter range are available with flow rates of 1.5 and 2.0 qt./min and 1.0 and 1.5 gpm, with sump caps of 10, 15, 30 and 45 gal. and canister capacities from 1.0 qt. to 3.5 gal. ...
