Can mail-order dealers and Web sites steer you toward the right digital picture-taker?
Just over a year ago, Computer Shopper sent me searching for a digital camera that would shoot personal snapshots and take business photos destined for a Web site. That Smart Shopper expedition wasn't a pretty picture. Digital cameras were unknown to most of the salespeople I talked to, and the recommendations they gave often lacked reason or rationale.
