An arbitrator reinstated Latrell Sprewell's $32 million contract that was terminated by the Golden State Warriors and reduced the penalty levied on him by the NBA for attacking his coach.

John D. Feerick ordered that Sprewell's one-year suspension end on July 1 instead of Dec. 4, which means Sprewell will miss 68 games instead of 82. And since ms contract was reinstated, Sprewell will lose $6.4 million in pay during the suspension. He will recoup the $17.3 million due on the last two seasons of his contract.
