There has been a great influx of Iranian emigrants to the United States in the last 15 years. Since the Iranian political revolution of 1979, many Iranians have left their country and emigrated to other countries in Europe, Asia, and the Americas. It is unclear whether they will be able to return to their country or will have to adjust to life in the country to which they have immigrated. Iranians may have difficulties adjusting to U.S. culture because it is very different from their home culture.
