The transition - WP to KWP
PE: Werner & Pfleiderer and Krupp announced their alliance in January of this year. What was the rationale for the alliance? And how has this affected WP's strategic plan?
Pfeiffer: The January announcement was only a means for changing the name to include Krupp. Werner & Pfleiderer has been a part of the Krupp group of companies since 1986. We originally chose not to publicize this; however we normally include the Krupp name in front of the name of the acquired company after the acquisition.
