New Culinary Center blends food art and science.
Alsip, Ill.-based Griffith Laboratories recently celebrated the grand opening of its new state-of-the-art Culinary Center with a star-studded Mexican Fiesta. Internationally known author and chef Rick Bayless of Chicago's Frontera Grill and Topolobampo Restaurant cooked up authentic regional Mexican recipes that could be prepared and marketed on an industrial scale, while Griffith's three certified executive chefs prepared a lavish meal in the center's restaurant-style kitchen.
