In this book, the third in the series Cambridge Studies in International and Comparative Law, Rothwell offers us a thorough survey of the international legal regimes of the Arctic and Antarctic regions. The treatment of the two regions is approximately evenly divided. Seven of the eleven chapters cover common themes, while four chapters (two each) are devoted to specific developments in each region.
