The day prior to the achievement awards, Toronto saw an influx of more than 800 students from high schools across Ontario.
The Blueprint for the Future, Aboriginal youth career fair was held at Toronto's Colony Hotel in conjunction with the achievement awards celebrations.
The object of the career fair, said Kenneth Williams, a spokesperson for the National Aboriginal Achievement Foundation, is to give Aboriginal students a chance to see what employment opportunities there are for them once they graduate.
