Constitutional recognition of Quebec's distinct culture and heritage will not confer any additional powers or privileges to that province, but will ensure Quebec the ability to protect and promote its heritage within the Canadian confederation. I know that the resolution deals with the term "distinct society" and the entrenchment of it in the Constitution, but I don't like to use that term. I think it's a term that brings up a lot ...
