Saturday, 16 August 1997 dawned early and clear. Rouse the kids; a quick breakfast; pack up the drinks, cookies and fruit for snacks; make a wake-up call to one who is concerned about missing the bus; and off to Toronto City Hall. There is the bus, a 53-seater with microphone, air-conditioning and a video system--what luxury. And other tour folks have arrived. All accounted for at this pickup point. Not yet 7:10 am. Two pickup points to go.
