Every now and then an issue comes along that should galvanize the Association into action, and this particular one is a dandy, although it has been brewing for several decades. There's little doubt that there were few Loyalists more prominent than Sir John Johnson. Had he have been an active Rebel, there would be many statues erected to his honour in the States. Unfortunately the fact that he ended his days in Canada, was an all too familiar guarantee that he would be forgotten or neglected. Indeed, to add insult to injury his tomb was bulldozed over many years ago.
