Richard Marceau, is the MP for Charlesbourg in the House of Commons. He is a lawyer and a graduate of Laval University Law School, the University of Western Ontario Law School and the Ecole nationale d'administration in France.
In the referenda of 1995 and 1980, the idea was put forth of achieving sovereignty in Quebec while preserving a monetary and economic union with the rest of Canada.
