Warren Johnson visited his brother, Sir William Johnson, during the winter of 1760-1761, and left a journal (1) of his journey to, and his stay in, the Mohawk Valley.He sailed from England for Philadelphia on 23 July, arriving there on 10 September 1760, where he stayed about two weeks. He then travelled by horseback to New York. After about a month in New York, he set out for his brother's estate on the Mohawk River.
