On the feast of the Assumption, August 15, 1996, the Ontario bishops issued a message to "the Catholic Education Community," entitled Family Life Education for Secondary Students. As members of this community we submit some observations.
Contents
The document stresses the primary role of the family in such education, adding that at school the approach is more systematic "but remains focussed on human experience explored in the light of Christian wisdom."
