CALGARY
Blueprint for the Future is an Aboriginal youth career fair operated in conjunction with the National Aboriginal Achievement Awards. The second annual fair will be held in Calgary on Feb. 5 and 6. Last year's fair was held in Winnipeg.
Mohawk composer and conductor John Kim Bell is the founder and president of the Canadian Native Arts Foundation, as well as founder and chair of the National Aboriginal Achievement Awards. He created Blueprint for the Future to give Aboriginal youth access to career opportunities and planning, as well as an opportunity to meet positive role models.
